Doctoral candidates DCs 1, 2, 6, 8 & 11 took part in the ETSA Training School on Kinetic Spraying: Aerosol and Cold Spray Processes, hosted by Helmut Schmidt University (HSU) in March.
The 2-day program offered an excellent opportunity to learn from industry experts about the latest developments in cold spray and aerosol deposition techniques. Participants also visited HSU’s research facilities and took part in hands-on sessions, producing both aerosol-deposited and cold-sprayed samples.
Engaging discussions between peers, researchers, and industry representatives focused on current challenges and innovative approaches in the field. Overall, it was a highly valuable experience, many thanks to ETSA for organising the event and to HSU for their warm hospitality.
