Abhinav Anand

My name is Abhinav, and I am originally from India. I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering at NIT Tiruchirappalli, India, in 2022 and my Master’s degree in Materials Engineering at the University of Turku, Finland, in 2024. During my Bachelor’s and Master’s studies, I worked with laser-based Additive Manufacturing (AM), particularly L-PBF, and performed heat treatment, material characterization, and tribocorrosion studies on as-built samples of titanium and steel alloys. Building on this background, I am excited to begin studying the cold spraying AM route as part of the Re-Make DC4 project.
