Laia Villar

Laia Villar completed the bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering at the University of Barcelona (UB), and the master’s degree in Materials Engineering at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Prior to her PhD, she worked as a research assistant studying the tribological properties of Thermal Spray coatings for the aerospace and train industry. In her free time, Villar enjoys climbing, travelling, and culinary experiences.
