Rajat Kawalkar

Rajat Kawalkar’s academic journey began with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from Nagpur University, followed by a Master’s in Materials Engineering at Uppsala University, where he developed metal composites for defense applications. His research includes leading an additive manufacturing project at the University of Massachusetts Amherst in collaboration with MIT, enhancing steel repair methods. Currently pursuing a PhD as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Researcher at UTBM and CNRS, he focuses on sustainable manufacturing and materials optimization. Recently, he completed an Executive PG in Data Science, further broadening his interdisciplinary expertise.
