The RE-MAKE project successfully held its second workshop on February 11–12, 2026, at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Mostoles Campus) in Madrid. The two-day event focused on the fundamental principles of cold spray bonding mechanisms and advanced material characterization. Technical sessions addressed the metallurgy of feedstock powders, process monitoring, and the assessment of metallurgical, wear, and corrosion properties. The program also featured comprehensive training in mechanical characterization, including fatigue and fracture behavior, alongside transferable skills development and laboratory tours.
The RE-MAKE consortium extends its sincere gratitude to Professor Pedro Poza and his research team for their exceptional hospitality and for hosting the event at the URJC facilities.
